• To divert water for irrigation.

• The Capacity is 52 million m³.

•  Irrigation area about 4600 ha.

• Crest length of 600 m.

 4- Benata Dam:

•  Constructed since 2006.

•  Located on Benata Village in Duhok.

• Length 120 m, Height 13 m.

• Capacity is 120 000 m³.

• Irrigation area about 40 ha.

 5- Bilijanke Dam:

•  Constructed since 2005.

•  Located on Bilijanke Village in Duhok.

•  Length 100 m, Height 10 m.

•  Capacity is 45 000 m³.

• Irrigation area about 45 ha

6- Ghilbishe Dam:

•   Constructed since 2005.

•   Located on Ghilbishe Village in Duhok.

•  Length 70 m, Height 18 m.
